Write to me on my talk page or through contact forms at http://www.socionics.us, etc. I will base decisions on Wikisocion policies, which have recently been clarified and made more stringent (esp. regarding user behavior).
[edit] News
Feb 2010: I expect to be posting occasionally at my socionics blog. I have generally lost interest in elaborating socionics concepts and have only occasionally been adding new famous people to my typings, but I am still very interested in the underlying issues in socionics.
While in the U.S., I read widely on scientific topics and went on a number of long backpacking trips. These experiences and information have shifted my interests more towards the natural world (particularly geography, ecology, human history and resource use). I expect my writings on socionics to continue to try to relate socionics to the natural world and empirical research on the nervous system and human behavior.
My physical body
(updated 07 Feb 2010)
I am back in Kiev, Ukraine, for the time being. I recently returned here after 1.5 years in the U.S. I got married last fall.
Where the rest of me can be found
(updated 07 Feb 2010)
- http://wikisocion.org/en: I am somewhat just a bit active here as of late
- http://socionics.us: site is basically frozen in time for the time being; when it is updated, it will be changed significantly; celebrity typings moved to Wikisocion
- http://socionist.blogspot.com: some new posts; I read all new comments but do not always answer
- http://the16types.info: have not been active only in non-socionics discussions on healthcare and climate change
- http://forums.socionics.ws: have participated in a few socionics and non-socionics discussions since Dec. 2009
What I'm doing with socionics these days
(last updated winter 2009; now outdated)
- Wikisocion: I've focused on developing Wikisocion policies to forestall unproductive behavior and be fair to all users. Now I've done a lot of work on my userlist and famous people list. I've recently written a lot about Jung-based typologies, especially comparing MBTI to socionics.
- Socionics book: I'm slowly writing what I hope will grow into a book on socionics. I am attempting to elaborate all crucial aspects of socionics into a cohesive, easily applicable whole. I think I have made some breakthroughs that will prove very useful and more understandable than many jumbled descriptions of the past. Also, I am developing a new kind of type description. Overall, the book will emphasize the essential workings of types and intertype relations, as grounded in "classical" socionics, and will serve as a handbook of sorts. The book will be accessible to many readers, not just closet intellectuals, and will make you think and observe at the same time. I will not predict a publishing date for the book at this time, as it still is far from materializing. Suspended February 2009 due to summer plans.
- The Socionist blog. Some interesting new posts in November, with a number of interesting hypotheses. Change of direction in March 2009.
- Type identification. A number of people have asked me to help them identify their types, which I do as a paid service. Ends mid-April 2009.
