OK, what do we need to do here to formulate holistic socionics ("without holes")? I think most people here will agree that the bread and butter of socionics is:

  • Model A
  • an understanding of the socionic functions, "information elements," "IM elements," or whatever you want to call them (   ,    ,    , etc.)

Then we have the descriptive part of socionics: types, relations, quadras, clubs, etc. Each of the pieces above is subject to lore, personal interpretation, etc. But they all have to fit together seamlessly. Each type description implies a certain interpretation of model A. So we look at our description of model A to see if we have there what is implied by the type description. And we look at other type descriptions to see if they have the same thing as it relates to their information aspect. "Quadra values" also derive from model A and the socionic functions. Can we trace that logical link from our description of model A? Etc. etc. Otherwise we have a collection of disassociated descriptions of unknown origin. If we can get everything to fit together, we will have a very solid theoretical foundation that may, hopefully, be good for something!
