[edit] Incomplete
"This page or section is incomplete. Additional contributions are needed."
That's not supposed to be an ironic joke, is it? --Tanehem 02:47, 2 January 2008 (GMT)
- Functions 3 thru 8 look pretty incomplete to me. Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 02:51, 2 January 2008 (GMT)
- It could be part of the joke, who knows. I don't actually think it's a joke, but perhaps it says something about the nature of IEEs anyway. --Tanehem 02:54, 2 January 2008 (GMT)
- ???? Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 03:02, 2 January 2008 (GMT)
- A tendency to over-extend themselves, take on too many projects and inevitably leave some incomplete, and perhaps also a tendency to get excited at the beginning of the project but abandon it when it gets "boring", or even a tendency to avoid boring work in general (not restricted to IEEs I know). --Tanehem 03:07, 2 January 2008 (GMT)
- perhaps, or perhaps not. it doesn't matter anyway. Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 03:52, 2 January 2008 (GMT)
- So... with that said, who's going to finish the IEE page? *looks hard at the IEEs* --Kanerou 19:24, 8 February 2009 (GMT)
[edit] "He does this automatically"
I have removed the last sentence on Introverted Ethics, which was "He does this automatically". I think automatic behavior, in this context, is more likely in the leading function. As the article on the Creative Function says, it can be turned on and off. There is no automatism to the creative use of Introverted Ethics, or any other creative function. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Consentingadult.
- i've had enough Ti blather for one lifetime. leave me alone. Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 21:55, 24 February 2008 (GMT)
- Thank you for responding with such an excellent argument Consentingadult 22:04, 24 February 2008 (GMT)
[edit] Whoah
Has anyone noticed that this type description is by far the most visited of all 16? Who's reading this stuff?? (it's not me!) --Admin 23:41, 6 May 2008 (BST)
i might have added to that significantly ;-) --Consentingadult 20:32, 11 January 2009 (GMT)
[edit] ILE/IEE common social roles overlap
"The nonpartisan" and "The lawyer" to me describe exactly the same thing ('s love of free information), but the IEE's "version" makes the ILE's sound so... mean. Is there a less extreme way of describing them? Gulanzon
- The motive of the "nonpartisan" IEE is mixed with (let's all just get along), so it's rather different from the ILE's (getting a point recognized as correct). Arguing to me does not have an inherently bad connotation. Thehotelambush 23:58, 6 February 2009 (GMT)
- True, but you can't say "lawyer" doesn't carry a lot more meaning than "a person licensed to practice law". I'm changing the ILE's "Lawyer" to "Debater". Gulanzon 02:32, 7 February 2009 (GMT)
- "Debater" definitely seems like a better word for capturing a common role of ILEs than "lawyer". --Admin 03:34, 7 February 2009 (GMT)

[edit] Fe Demonstrative
"The IEE appreciates situations where people are enjoying a positive emotional atmosphere as in having fun and joking together, and is quite adept at creating them himself, but does not see creating or promoting them a top priority, nor does he actively look for people who maintain or need such an atmosphere; too high a focus on that is seen by an IEE as overdone." Why is it only about positive emotional atmospheres? If I am not mistaken, it is the perception and influence of mood and atmosphere that is the domain of ; positive or negative doesn't matter, so long as it is being either perceived or done by the person. I realize this was copied from the page, so I'll probably say something over there, too. --Kanerou 00:20, 13 July 2009 (BST)
