The Universal Type
Can't seem to figure out your socionic type? I'd be willing to bet the following description sounds an awful lot like you...
You find it important to be around upbeat and positive people who make you feel good. You strive to reach your personal goals and be productive in your endeavors. You like periods of hard work followed by meaningful relaxation. If you believe in a cause, you are willing to put lots of effort into your work.
You have a deep-seated need for other people and find fulfillment in your close relationships. If not all is well in your relationships you feel down and lose your sense of direction in life. Intimacy and sex are very important to you, but you sometimes have difficulties in satisfying these needs.
You are generally not easily angered, but serious insults and disappointments can cause you to feel intense anger and bitterness. However, these pass quickly, and you soon resume your normal life.
You have the capacity for both group interaction and solitary work. At different times both can rejuvenate you. You enjoy using humor to lighten up situations and relax. People close to you value you for your sense of humor as well as for your reliability.
You have an inquisitive mind and like to figure things out for yourself. You don't like being ordered around or told what to think. You have dark secrets that nobody knows about but that you wish you could tell someone who would understand.

Don't know if you have tried this, but it would be interesting to give a standard personality test and yet pass out this same description to everyone who has taken the test (without letting anyone compare results) -- then see how much they think they identify with it.
It sounds an awful lot like the typical personality description offered as part of one's horoscope reading.

Yeah, that would be interesting, but I've read of experiments like that, and they show that pretty much anyone identify with these neutral descriptions.

Called the Forer effect.
Also if you're skeptical on every sentence, you'll find that you can't relate to the description.
Also its very general. Like who won't work hard for something they believe in? And who HATES being with ppl who make them feel good?
