Benchmark Project 2008

We are continuing the benchmark project created in 2007, which was inspired by a similar project among Russian-speaking socionists. This project generated a list of people whose types the small but growing English-speaking socionics community more or less agrees on. You can see the resulting 2007 list here.

Anyone who is reasonably experienced in socionics may participate (you decide whether that applies to you).

Download this form and save it to your computer. Then follow the instructions on the form and send it to the address indicated by March 31st.

Instructions:

  1. The form is divided into 16 columns by quadra. Enter names directly under the column heading (this should be obvious looking at the form).
  2. Write the first name, then last using the most common version of the name ("Bill Clinton," not "Clinton, Bill" or "William Clinton."
  3. Famous people and members of socionics forums may be included in your list (using their forum name). Please no fictional characters.
  4. Only include people whose type you are more or less sure of and could provide some reasonable argumentation (these must be conscientious typings).

The results will not show any names, so this will be anonymous to readers. The final list will consist of people typed by four or more participants and with a level of agreement of 75% or higher (same rules as the Russian benchmark list). For ideas of people you may have typed but forgotten about, see the raw list of people typed from 2007.

Thank you for your contributions.
