Getting Started Learning about Socionics
Socionics is a difficult enough topic that you will probably want to revisit pages of this site multiple times and refer frequently to certain charts and descriptions. I have tried to make this site easy to use by creating pop-up charts of and that you can access on many pages of the site. Feel free to write to me if something does not make sense, and I will try to explain it better.
This site is brand-new and is rapidly growing, so I don't yet have all the pieces in place to make socionics completely understandable from start to finish. For now, I recommend reading the following pages in this order (all links below pop up in a new window for ease of use):
- Introduction to Socionics
- Notes on Augusta's Commentary on Jung's Typology
- Discovering your Socionic Type
- The 4 Dichotomies and their extended descriptions
- The Socionic Types
- Overall Type Moods
- Information Elements
- Quadras
- The Theory of Intertype Relations
- Intertype Relations with Short Descriptions
- Limitations of Types and Intertype Relations
- The Evolutionary Basis of Socionic Phenomena
- Interview on the Beginnings of Socionics
- Notes on Augusta's A Socion, or Socionics Basics
