Note the emphasis (especially towards the end) on overcoming difficulties, sticking it out, and being demanding of oneself (ignoring sickness, etc. in order to play).

An extremely ambitious, strong-willed man who was inspired and mobilized by threatening situations and challenges. Adept at seizing and holding onto power, but did not know what to do with it once he had it. Bored by routine managerial tasks. Had huge energy swings depending on whether he had challenges facing him or not. Seemed to enjoy moving people around a lot in the government to see what they could do.
Had an authoritarian personality, but managed to create the basics of a democratic system of government in Russia. However, he was surprised and disappointed when his hand-picked successor, Putin (LSI), reversed many of these gains.
In his childhood, Yeltsin was known for his strong-willed personality and for getting into fights. He was a workaholic and pushed his body and health to extremes to overcome self-imposed tribulations.
Here is an article on Yeltsin's life.

Bernhard is full of energy and out of control. Very outspoken, darying, and provocative; likes to make people uncomfortable and test the limits of her control over situations.

A rare look at Bernhard when she is "serious" (very good)

The two are very loud, raunchy, and out of control. They like playing with people for fun.

While Gurdjieff's teachings have much in common with those of other spiritual teachers, his emphasis betrays a viewpoint. His ideal is one of strenuous self-development and conquering the many weaknesses inside in order to become a sort of harmoniously developed superman. Rather than pursue this primarily through meditative means or by "emptying the mind," Gurdjieff promoted a very rigorous and demanding method of self-observation, group work, and strenuous exercises. He taught his followers to make "super-efforts" — quite a contrast with more contemplative spiritual disciplines. He was known for his physicality and resilience to hardships (and for encouraging the same qualities in his followers), for his sometimes biting derision of followers' weaknesses, and also for his hospitality, generosity, and collectivistic spirit (he would live in large homes with his followers and take care of their material affairs). After his ideas crystallized in the first half of his adventurous life, the rest of his time was spent on the realization of those ideas, without any significant changes in thought or the inclusion of modern scientific knowledge. In his autobiography he emphasizes the tumultuous nature of his youth and his brushes with death and danger — a lifestyle that followed him throughout his life. Hence, he attracted followers who were captivated by the "strong man" ideal and the idea of highly concentrated self-improvement in a demanding atmosphere.
I have discussed Gurdjieff's teachings further at my blog.

Discussion:
>> Perhaps the Se you are seeing is not Se dominance, but Se PoLR, which would imply that the super-ego has something to do with the "individuation" process.
The most important notion throughout Gurdjieff's work is “a transforming search,” rather than “a search for transformation.” While no one type would seem to arise from an emphasis on a "transforming search", there might be a type to present itelf from the manner in which Gurdjieff understood the action of "searching".
It's safe to say the "search" Gurdjieff implied robust action and hard work with a hefty physical component ("stop" exercises, dances, physical development, communal living, etc.). Gurdjieff's own search involved adventures and physical hardships, risk of death, and starting over again and again. He made a point of looking for and even artificially creating challenges for his followers to overcome. This emphasis is a strong argument for extraverted sensing.
In addition, Gurdjieff was known for his strong vitality and magnetic physical presence. In his Russia years he was able to effectively lead dozens of followers in organizing their daily life and making a living during the revolution years. He loved to cook and would put on big dinners with fancy dishes he had made himself. He was demanding and often stern, yet generous and paternalistic. Typical SLE qualities.
If he had been an intuiter, he probably would have written out his ideas himself, but as it was, this was done for him by intuitive followers (Ouspensky and others). Gurdjieff only began writing after a car accident put him out of commission later in life. His idea system evolved little between 1915 and 1949 (his death); an intuiter would have continued to modify his ideas and add on new pieces from other relevant ideological systems. What Gurdjieff added on later was physical -- his "movements," or special mystic dances.
If we compare Gurdjieff to his early follower Ouspensky, who was clearly an intuiter, we see that the first emphasized the practice and physical application of his teachings, while the second emphasized the ideas themselves and gave in-depth lectures on them to his followers, while almost completely ignoring the lifestyle that Gurdjieff had always involved his followers in. |

Chairwoman of the Regions of Ukraine fraction of the Ukrainian parliament. Needless to say, Bogatyreva is a strong-willed, serious woman — basically an "alpha female" on a par with the most dominant men. With Yanukovich the head of the party (see below) and several other prominent SLE party members, the party is quite dominated by SLEs. As a result, it has a markedly hierarchical structure with a large degree of well-enforced internal unity, as opposed to the more fragmented parties of their opponents.
